| | The Ministry of Finance and Economic Management is seeking applications from suitable qualified individuals for the above position to assist in implementing it's newly approved structures, provide support to the government financial and management system to provide assistance to schools on the Government free education policy initiative. |
| | The objective of this position is to strengthen the capacity of the staff in the Financial Management and Information System (FMIS). The advisor will achieve the above through provisions of systems technical support to the SmartStream and its related reporting applications such as FRX, vision and the Vanuatu Budget Mangement System (VBMS). It is also anticapated |
| | that the position will provide accounting support to the Accounts Unit of DoFT. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - A strong educational background in accounting and IT |
| | - A minimum of 5 years experience in Public financial management information system |
| | - Be very familiar with the use of smartStream and be able to provide technical support to this system along with its related reporting applications |
| | - Good understanding of the Government accounting systems and processes |
| | - Be prepared to train and effectively transfer skills to local counterparts. |
