| | The Ministry of Trade, Commerce and Industry wishes to recruit for the Department of Trade one qualified and experienced person for the position of Senior Trade Officer (Multilateral). |
| | The office of the Corporate Services at the Ministry of Trade and the Department of Trade will provide any person with information package containing details of the vacancy including duties and responsibilities and reporting arrangements. |

| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) The Senior Trade Officer (Multilateral) will be responsible to assist the Principal External Trade Officer Multilateral and Regional DTA in providing technical advice specifically on Vanuatu’s WTO and EU-EPA commitments both in Goods and Services |
| | 2) Manage the WTO reference centre establish an on-going public-private dialogue with stakeholders. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Bachelor degree; International trade, economics, business, commerce, law or equivalent professional qualification; Two (2) years work experience in a similar position; The post require critical |
| | analysis and must be computer literate |
| | - Critical, analytical and persuasive; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Be of good character, behavior, moral virtues understanding |
| | - Must be punctual, honest, and flexible and have a professional attitude and approach to work |
| | - Proficient both writing, reading and speaking in English or French and Bislama. |
