| | Bred Vanuatu) Limited is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced person to fill the position of a Credit Analyst to be based at its head office in Port Vila. The primary purpose of the Credit Analyst is to support the business through making objective assessment of applications within the Bank’s lending policies and procedures |

| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | Reporting to the Head of Lending your role will combine an interesting and varies mix of commercial loan assessment, client services (telephone), lending and general business administration responsibilities |

| | Analyze credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending or lending money and prepare reports |
| | Prepare credit applications and loan submissions for consideration to the banks credit approving authorities |
| | Analysis of financial information and all relevant applicant and market information relative to loan application |
| | Evaluate customer records and recommend payment plans based on earning, savings data, payment history, and purchase activities |
| | Confer with credit association and other business representatives to exchange credit information |
| | Maintain customer loan and security files and comply with all reporting/review obligations |
| | Business generation through sales of international products and services, cross sales and referrals |
| | Achievement of agreed targets and performance standards. |
| | Skills and experience required: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Tertiary qualifications in business, accounting, or economics would be preferable |
| | - Sound financial analysis and understanding of balance sheet; Previous experience in a banking, business lending or finance environment is essential |
| | - Good communication skills both written and verbal |
| | - Self-starter, enjoy taking responsibility and delivering superior service to clients |
| | - Demonstrated capability for quick learning. |
