Job Description:
The
Vanuatu Agriculture Research and Technical Centre (VARTC) in Santo is
recruiting under its new working structure a suitable person of the position of
Chief Executive Officer. The CEO will be responsible of the
administrative management of the centre and will work closely
with its Deputy Director responsible of the scientific research of
VARTC. The CEO position requires a senior, mature, dedicated and committed
person to handle the administrative and financial operations of the center.
Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification or an equivalent in business management and administration, Agriculture production enterprises would be an advantage;
- Must have a sound knowledge in accountancy and at least 5 years experience in business management;
- Must be self-motivated, and able to work without supervision and under pressure;
- Ability to lead a team and to establish networking;
- Ability to write reports;
- Have a good command of written and spoken English or French and Bislama (Bi-lingual in English and French would be an advantage).
