Job Description:


The Vanuatu Red Cross Society, working jointly with French Red Cross, is seeking applications from dynamic and highly motivated persons to immediately fil up the following postion a part of it's VRCS management.

 The logistics Coordinator is in charge of the procurement, management and transport of goods, ensures the management of the supply chain, and ensures the management of the vehicles and IT fleet.
He/she is supporting the implementation of the FRC/VRCS projects and should ensure the respect of the logistics procedures.
    Criteria:
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics management of humanitarian activities 
    • Knowledge of the supply chain and management tools of the FRC
    • Good knowledge of local and international purchase
    • Good technical knowledge of stock management (equipment, consumables)
    • Good knowledge of international and local transport and flow management
    • Good knowledge of telecom and computerized management
    • Driving license 
    • Excellent computer skills (Internet, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
    • Excellent knowledge of Vanuatu administrative component
    • Interest in sharing professional skills as well as learning from others
    • Knowledge of the Vanuatu context
    • Fluent Bislama required
    • Fluent English and/or French requred
    • Open-minded, dynamic and flexible
    • Knowledge of Red Cross movement will be an asset.
