Job Description:


Asco Motors is the dominant automotive dealer and distributer in Vanuatu supporting premier Tyre’s and Battery brands as GT Radial and Motility and employs over 70 staff. Asco Motors is looking to recruit an ambitious and highly motivated Tyre and Batteries Supervisor in Port Vila. This position reports directly to the National Tyers and Batteries Manager..

Duties and Responsibility:
The Supervisor will be responsible in running an efficient Tyre & Battery Center operation. He or she will carry out this responsibility by controlling cost, fostering good business relationship to clients, maintaining good employee relationships, meeting Parts, Tyres, batteries and white goods sales, objectives and maintaining updated records and sound stock take and inventory management.
  • Ensure optimum turnover of monthly sales and inventory
  • Ensure that good business relationships with all clienteles are maintained
  • Ensure that Tyres, Batteries and Other Accessories range are properly presented in our showroom area
  • Ensure that cleanliness and orderliness of the whole TYB Center are maintained by adopting the 4S (a. sifting, b. sorting, c. sweeping & cleaning and d. spick & span) philosophy.

        Criteria: 
        • Provide sound support to all staff under him/her
        • Ensure that all expenses are kept within budget
        • Ensure that all machineries and equipment are properly handled and maintained
        • Provide the lead in all company projects and other sponsored events such as sales promotions, inventory stock takes and the likes
        • Perform other tasks the may be assigned to him from time to time by his/her superior
        • Clean and Valid driver’s license is a must
        • Fluency in French, English and Bislama is an advantageous requirement.
