The Chamber of
Commerce & Industry is the recognized national institution representing the
voice of the private sector. It has since inception in 1995 grown to becoming a
well-respected and reputable organization contributing significantly in its
activities towards growing the economy. Based on its successes so far achieved,
it seeks a motivated Ni-Vanuatu citizen to take up the position of Acting General Manager at its
Head Office in Port Vila. This is an Executive position and requires a well-respected
and disciplined mature person who has had at least 5 years’ experience in a
senior management position. The position requires the Acting General Manager to
be responsible for the effective management of the Chamber’s overall operations

Tertiary (University) Degree in Economics,
Commerce, Accounting and/or Business Studies with minimum of 5 years’
Experiences in delivering successful policy
Experiences in corporate governance and public
Ability to advocate, advise, network and be an initiator
of program activities
Ability to mobilize funding support both locally and
Financial management experiences and analytical skills
to monitor and evaluate statutory financial reports
Knowledge of national, regional and international
Ability to manage and motivate the staff
