Telecom Vanuatu Limited is seeking for a Street Seller Officer to be based in Santo.

Basic activities important to follow on day-to-day basis:
Achieving daily and monthly Target
Relationship building with business partners
Researching the market and related products
Presenting the product or service in a structured professional way face to face to
Stock and Cash management
Market trend update.
Typical activities for Street Sales Officer include:
Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale
Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person
Responding to incoming inquiries
Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets
Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales
Gathering market and customer information
Representing their company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with Retailers
Challenging any objections with a view to getting the customer to buy
Advising on forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotions
Creating detailed proposal documents
Liaising with stock team to check the progress of existing orders
Checking the quantities of goods on display and in stock at retail points
Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Street Sales In
charge, or entering figures into a computer system and doing daily reconciliation of
the stock and cash
Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed target
Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements
Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
Feeding future buying trends back to superior
Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues
Taking best care of the company properties
Updating and training the retailers on new products and promotions
Following up on competitors activity regularly and update the same to the superior.

Basic sales work experience
Stock and cash reconciliation process.
Fluent English/French and Bislama
Excellent written and verbal skills
Ability to work on a transversal way, understanding all the needs of the different
Have a Valid Driver’s License.
