Job Description:
The Australian Labour Mobility Assistance Program (LMAP), managed by Cardno, provides capacity-building support to the Employment Services Unit (ESU) within the Department of Labour and Employment Services to strengthen their ability to support Vanuatu’s participation in the Australian Seasonal Worker Programme (SWP).

LMAP is seeking to engage a Training Officer to manage and facilitate the required training for workers who are participating in the Seasonal Worker Programme.

The focus of your role will be to facilitate SWP training programs, including pre-departure briefings, team leader and re-integration workshops.

You will be responsible for working with ESU staff and registered agents to ensure all seasonal workers scheduled to depart for Australia attend a pre-departure briefing, develop and deliver training programs to prepare workers for the SWP, as well as maintaining records of all trained workers and conducting evaluations/reports on all training programs.

The position will be contracted by Cardno as a full-time contractor until January 2018, and if probationary period requirements are met, the Training Officer will then continue working for the Department of Labour and Employment Services in a full-time capacity.
