Job Description:
  • To engage community groups in the Port Vila area and in rural areas around Efate
  • To develop and present educational programs on animal welfare, to a diverse audience including high school students, primary school students and community groups
  • To deliver reports and updates to the Sam’s Animal Welfare Association President and Board members at regular meetings
  • To work and continue professional training alongside current veterinary staff and others
  • To assist with the community desexing clinics as required
  • To work within the terms of reference as describes by the Board.
      Criteria:
      • A passion and enthusiasm for animals
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills, a background in education would be seen as an advantage
      • Demonstrated experience running workshops with different community groups
      • Computer literacy; email, Facebook and Microsoft office
      • Willingness to work with a team and develop new skills
      • Strong in English and Bislama, French is an advantage. 

            Salary:

            Depending on skills & qualifications

            Language:

            English, Bislama, French would be an advantage but not necessary
