Job Description
|
|
The Communication
Outreach Officer will be responsible for the design, coordination and
facilitation of implementation activities in liaison with the Relocation
Technical Working Group (RTWG), National Disaster Management Office (NDMO)
and partners involved in resettlement of affected communities on Ambae.
|
|
Selection Criteria
|
|
The consultant will be
expected to have the following skills and experience:
• Excellent communications skills and proven ability to develop communications strategies and tools • Ability to apply objective and unbiased analysis to develop strategy and clear communications skills • A strong understanding of disaster management and approaches for engaging disaster affected communities in two way communication and feedback mechanisms • Strong organisational skills • Strong participatory facilitation skills. • Fluency in English and Bislama • National and international consultants are invited to apply |
