dynamic individual to act as Operation
Manager. That individual will be responsible for managing day to day
operations for the business, develop new market opportunities, and drive
sales growth

Job Description
|
|
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing sales, procurement, and day-to-day store operations • Develop and drive sales strategies and achieve sales • targets • Maintain effective stock management, stock control, and loss prevention process • Ensure timely stock ordering. • Product and brand building identifying and with promoting new lines of product • Visual Merchandising and eye for detail • Maintain excellent customer relationships. • Developing new business opportunities in the plumbing and hardware market. • Lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service. • Managing recruitment, orientation, and training of sales employees, and following up on work results. • Train and develop team in sales, and customer service. • The role demands flexibility for early/late start, weekends and public holidays. Role will be reporting to the Financial Controller to provide regular reporting on: • Monthly Sales. • Stock Management. • Other reports and tasks as required by management Minimum Qualification and Requirements: • Plumbing and hardware experience is highly regarded for • the position. • Experience in preparation for tender supply of products • an advantage. • Formal qualifications from a recognized Tertiary • Institution or University will be an added advantage. • Must possess excellent leadership, communication and • negotiation skills. • Must possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft software. • Be a self-starter who can work with minimum supervision. • Valid driving license Remuneration: • Salary commensurate with experience • Transport will be provided by the company |
