for an enthusiastic, creative and fully qualified chef to work with a busy team
in our restaurant kitchen. The Aore Island Resort restaurant offers a
distinctive Melanesian dining experience with stunning views that overlook the
Second Channel. It features high quality local foods, with an emphasis on
fabulous, fresh local seafood’s, and Santo Island meats. The restaurant caters
to our in-house and regular day guests, as well as a variety of events
including weddings and corporate functions.
Criteria:
The successful
applicant will have previous experience:
Working in a busy kitchen
Working unsupervised
Setting menus and food pricing
Ordering and monitoring supplies.
Attention to detail is a must, as is demonstrated culinary expertise. We
want someone with creativity and passion to help us produce innovative dishes
and enhance the overall dining experience for our customers. A knowledge and
interest in Asian or French foods, and pastries is highly desirable. An
effective starting date would be 01st March, 2017.
