Job Description:
The Ombudsman of the Republic of Vanuatu holds Office for five
years unless he/she earlier resigns or is dismissed from office. The position
of Ombudsman will be vacant on the 19th December 2017.
The Vanuatu Government is inviting citizens of Vanuatu
interested in this very important position to apply directly to the State Law
Office.

The person sought:
Must have knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the work of the culture, tradition and values of Ni-Vanuatu people
Is of high integrity and competence
Has an appropriate academic qualification and suitable experience in the public or private sector
Is politically independent
Is capable of discharging his or her constitutional duties without fear or favour
Is of high standing in the eyes of the community
Must be a citizen of Vanuatu.
