| | The Deparment of Foreign Affairs and International Coorperation wish to advertise the following position within its newly established speacialized section. |
| | This is a senior position requiring specializing technical skills and experience to support the work of the Head of Division on major issues relating to Maritime and Ocean Affairs. |
| | - Assist in coordinate technical meetingson specific Maritime boundaries and continental shelf issues. |
| | - Provide technical advice to the Head of Division when required |
| | - Supervise all information system including the production of maps. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - Must posses a tertiary qualification, minimum being a University Degree in any of the following fields: Law of the Sea, International law, Marine science, Maritime Science or a related field. |
| | - Must have at least two years experience in a related position or performing a similar function/resposibility to some or all of the duties/responsibility mentioned. |
| | - Be well vested with Maritime Boundary, Continental shelf and ocean affairs issues including umaenupe and Leka. |
| | - Computer Literate(high profiency) |
| | - Planning and reporting skills |
| | - Possess a natural patriotic character over national sovereignty. |
| | - Must be very open minded on issues of national interest, is an analytical and practical thinker with a thinker through approach. |
| | - Performance driven |
| | - High-level commitment is essential |
| | - English and/or French and Bislama. |
