| | The Melanesian Spearhead Group (MSG) Secretariat is seeking to recruit a suitable person for the position of Political/ Legal Advisor. This is an important position within the Political Affairs Division of the Secretariat and will require an experienced and dedicated person who will support the Director of the Political Affairs Division in the management and operations of |
| | the Division. The Advisor will assist the Director in the development and efficient management of the Political Affairs Division’s annual budget and work programme, provide advice on political, security, legal and law enforcement issues affecting the MSG and seek donor assistance for the operations of the Division. The advisor will also play a key role in providing in |
| | house legal advice to the Secretariat and other divisions within the organization. The Political/Legal Advisor is a key position that reports directly to the Director, Political Affairs Division. |
| | Criteria: |
| | - Be citizens of MSG’member States including the FLNKS of New Caledonia; |
| | - Possess post graduate qualifications in the fields of political science, law, security and related fields; |
| | - Executive management and administration skills would be considered an advantage; |
| | - Have 7 years or more work experience in a policy advisory position |
| | Salary: |
| | An annual salary package of up to USD 60, 000 will be offered with other benefits. |
