| | Applications are invited for the position of Manager Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited. The position will be based at Air Vanuatu House, Port Vila, Vanuatu. Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Report directly to the chief financial officer |
| | Interested application must have the following: |
| | Criteria: |
| | - University qualification in one of the preferred information technology fields; Management experience working within a medium to large business either in vanuatu or overseas; Demonstrated ability to plan |
| | and execute strategic ICT business goals; Managing ICT departmental resources, both human and material |
| | - Development, budgeting and implementation of a complete ICT plan balancing budgetary constraints with both business needs and current technologies; Exploring best cost option realistic solutions; Prepare |
| | and deliver status reports and strategic direction papers, relevant to the ICT department; Prioritize business needs to balance immediate requirments with medium and long term planning; Ensure staff |
| | resources are adequate, qualified and time managed |
| | - Devlopment of a disaster recovery plan (DRP); Assesment and internal systems, email, airline specific and associated systems; Development and execution of an incremented plan to ensure ICT is fully |
| | compliant, functional and reliable; Excellent oral, written and communication skills required; Current drivers license and passport essential; Must be able to provide police clearance and a medical report |
| | declaring fit for all duties. |
