The School of Law of the University of the South Pacific is calling for applications for the position mentioned based in the Pacific Islands Legal Information Institute.

Duties and responsibilities:

You will assist the editorial team:

1) To process (scan, format, proof read and upload) hard copy judgments and related materials

2) To maintain the registers tracking information regarding the documents received and as they pass through the various processing stages

3) In whatever editorial section you may be redeployed to as editorial needs dictate

4) To assemble information and to respond to enquiries from senior staff in the formalation of the regular reports that are prepared by the institute.

Interested applicant must possess the following:

Criteria:

- Diploma level qualification with relevant work related experience OR a certificate level qualification with post-certificate relevant work experience

- A high degree of familiarity with law and legal resources

- Meticulous attention to detail

- Experience in computer applications, especially microsoft word and excel

- Good oral and written English language skills.

Salary:

Grade 3 VT1, 040,593 to VT1,304593 per annum
