| | The Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) is a body established by the Vanuatu National Provident Fund Act CAP 189 to provide for member contributions to and the payment of members benefits out of the Fund. | | (CFO). This is a senior managerial position requiring a person of good character, experience, maturity and dedication with desire for accountability and improvement of financial services to then members throughout Vanuatu. |
| | Duties and responsibilities: |
| | 1) Will provide leadership to the finance division ands reporting directly to the general manager |
| | 2) Responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the entire Fund |
| | 3) The CFOs duties include financial planning and monitoring cash flow |
| | 4) He or she analyzes the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses and suggests plans for improvement |
| | 5) He or she is expected to provide managerial leadership and advice and will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing policy systems to ensure that the Fund’s financial reports are accurate and completed on time |
| | 6) Effective division managed through the VNPF management system |
| | 7) Inform elective management, board and members |
| | 8) Statutory and operationally compliant (VNPF financial) |
| | 9) Leadership of the finance division |
| | 10) Long-term operational and strategic planning, execution, contract negotiations and project finance |
| | 11) A developing and growing finance division. |

| | Criteria: |
| | - A desired candidate must have a degree or higher from a recognized tertiary institution in one or more o of the following, accounting and financial management |
| | - Preference will be given to appointees with least 8 years’ experience in a senior financial management position and should hold at least a CPA qualification (or similar professional qualifications). |
