| | Criteria: |
| | - Year 12-13 Certificate with good passes in Science, Maths and English; A certificate in basic meteorology class IV standard will be an advantage; |
| | - Any relevant wheather experience should be preferable; Good communication skills including writing, listening and reading; Public relations skills and must be computer literate; |
| | - Practical and analytical thinker; Must have a very good character, good team work and cooperates fully with all meteorological officers; Fluent in both spoken and written English or French or Bislama. |
