| | Vanuatu Helicopters is one of the leading aviation companies in Vanuatu; we cover all aspects of aviation from Tourism to Medical Evacuation to construction of major infrastructure on the outer Islands. We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Crewman/Loader. |
| | Vanuatu Helicopters is often chartered for commercial work; this includes but is not limited to Medical Evacuations', Major Construction of Infrastructure on outer islands and Emergency Response. The work is varied and can take you from Futuna in the South to the Torres Islands in the North you will experience things the average person will not due to the nature of our work. |
| | To apply for this position you must have the same skills as the Boat Driver/Loader position above as well as; |
| | Criteria: |
| | - The ability to talk to and explain helicopter operations to people on outer Islands. |
| | - You will need to have no fear of flying. |
| | - You will be required to rig all our lifting equipment so the helicopter can carry external loads(training will be given). |
| | - You will need to be able to estimate weight of equipments and loads and liaisewith the pilots over a handheld radio. |
| | - You will need to be a strong swimmer. |
| | - You will know how to operate a chainsaw safely. |
| | - You will need to be able to maintain our helicopters in a clean and tidy condition. |
| | - You will assist pilots on day to day duties and be on all for any emergency work that may rise. |
| | - You will need to be available to work away from home. |
| | - You will need to be able to work unsupervised. |
