Job Description:

Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited currently wishes to recruit a Quality Assurance Officer for it's Airports Operation based in Port Vila, Vanuatu. The Position will encoumpasses a cross-section of tasks performed by Quality Assurance Officers working in a maintenance and aircraft servicing environment.



Primary responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

- Communicating, Supervising

- Implementing plans and policies

- Implementing regulatory requirements and industry standards

- Prioritizing, scheduling, developing plans, budgeting, allocating human and material resources

- Monitoring/managing product conformance

- Organizating, leading, coaching and mentoring.



The Successful app;icant will be familiar with the technical requirements associated with their position in maintenance. The applicant should have extensive knowledge of industry requirements, standards and regulations. Quality Assurance Managers must have detailed knowledge of the roles and responsibilites of other quality assurance positions, such as Quality Systems Auditors and

must be able to sulfill their duties as required.



The position: will be to assure through reviews of regulatory requirments, incident inverstigations and periodic audits of engineering facilities, engineering functions and inspection standards that airworthiness requirements are achieved as per international authirity regulations.



Experience and Qualilification include:

Criteria:

- Post Graduate Diploma (12+4 equivalent);

- The Job holder must possess Maintenance Licenses valid for aircraft operated by Air Vanuatu or a recognized Degree in aircraf engineering disciplines with extensive experience in the maintenance of modern aircraft

systems/components;

- More than 5 years experience in Aviation Quality Assurance/Regularoty environment; Extensive experience in the regulatory, engineering and maintenance aspects of modern aircraf and/or euipment (Aircraft,

engines, components); An indepth knowledge of airworthiness, air legislation and modern quality assurance techniques.

- Aptitude to computer techniques and knowledge of ISO 9000 principles and audit procedures.
