All Board members will be expected to volunteer their time (approximately 4-10 hours per month) to attend Board meetings, participate in discussions and decision-making, contribute to strategic planning activities, publicly support YCV’s programs and assist them to increase their profile in the community. Selected Board members will help in overseeing the organisation’s finances, expanding YCV’s resources and supporting senior management.

Who is YCV looking for to serve on their Board?

In particular, YCV is seeking Board members who have expertise in finance, management, law, community development, fundraising and public relations and/or human resources. People experienced in youth engagement, vocational education and/or business would also be highly regarded. All Board members must be motivated and committed to engage in Board activities, be passionate about youth issues, be good communicators and team members and able to make good decisions. YCV is seeking both male and female Board members and encourages young leaders to apply.
