The Vanuatu Red Cross
Society, working jointly with the support of the Australian Red Cross, is
seeking applications for a dynamic and highly motivated person to immediately
fill Driver and Logistics position as part of its VRCS team in West Tanna.
Criteria:
Applicants are required to demonstrate the following:
Qualifications and
profile required
- Current driver's license with clean driving record
- Willing to travel as required
- Good time management skills
- Fit enough to carry out the above tasks, which include lifting
- Excellent eye sight
- Integrity
- Able to work both as part of a team and minimal supervision.
Knowledge & Skills
- Prior experience as a driver, including driving
trucks
- Ability to maintain vehicles
- Knowledge and experience in small motor vehicle repairs
- Strong problem solving skills
- Fluent in Bislama and English. Some French would be advantageous.
