Job Description:

The Disability Promotion and Advocacy Association seeks a part-time ICT and Disability Project Officer for six months to be located in Port Vila. The Disability Promotion and Advocacy Association is participating in a pilot project on promoting increased accessibility to the Internet and mobile phones for people with disability. The project is supported by the International Telecommunications Union and funded by the Australian Government. The Vanuatu Government, through the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer (OGCIO) and the Telecommunications and Radiocommunications Regulator (TRR) are partners in the project together with the Pacific Disability Forum. Roles & Responsibilities Survey administration Co-development of training materials Co-delivery of training in disability awareness Development and dissemination of information Other relevant duties. You will be working closely with the School Council Board, Principal and Heads of Department and assisted by 2 office staff in this role.
