Carpenter Motors Vanuatu is seeking to recruit a highly organized GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER to join our dynamic and growing group of businesses, based in Port Vila.
As our Group Financial Controller, you will be the financial compass for the entire organization. You’ll ensure our numbers tell a clear, accurate story, guiding strategic decisions, safeguarding profitability, and enabling us to seize new opportunities. Your leadership will strengthen our financial controls, streamline processes across multiple business units, and provide the insights that fuel our next stage of growth.
Selection Criteria:
* CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
* Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within a multi-entity or group structure.
* Strong technical accounting skills and a deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP FICO; Microsoft Dynamics NAV) and Microsoft Excel.
* Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
* A collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels.
* Commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
* Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage but not essential
