Position Overview:
The Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day management and performance of Noa Noa Limited and its Kavanua brand, ensuring efficient operations, achievement of sales and production objectives, sound financial management, and continued business development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate the daily operations of Noa Noa Limited.
• Supervise production, sales, retail, inventory, procurement and logistics activities.
• Lead and manage staff, allocate responsibilities and monitor performance.
• Develop sales and identify new commercial opportunities in Vanuatu and overseas.
• Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors and business partners.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, budgets and overall business performance.
• Ensure production targets, product quality and stock requirements are maintained.
• Coordinate export orders, international distributors and shipments.
• Oversee marketing activities and development of the Kavanua brand.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable regulations.
• Ensure the ISO certification of Noa Noa Ltd every year.
• Renew all necessary and mandatory licenses of Noa Noa Ltd.
• Prepare regular operational and financial reports for the Directors.
• Maintain regular communication with the Directors about the Company’s position.
• Implement the strategy and decisions established by the Directors.
• Prepare all the relevant applications for Noa Noa to access grant programs proposed by the institutions, both national and international.
• Lobby on behalf of Noa Noa Ltd and in the interest of Noa Noa Ltd.
• Perform any other duties reasonably required for the effective management and development of the company.
Selection Criteria:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
A qualification in finance, accounting, operations, supply chain, marketing, or project management would be an advantage.
Experience in quality management systems, especially ISO certification and compliance, is desirable.
Strong written and spoken English; knowledge of French would be an advantage.
Experience:
At least 5 years of relevant management experience, preferably in a senior operational or general-management role.
Experience overseeing several business functions, such as production, sales, retail, inventory, procurement, logistics, and marketing.
Demonstrated experience leading staff, setting responsibilities, and monitoring performance.
Experience managing budgets, revenue, expenses, margins, cash flow, and business reports.
A record of growing sales, developing markets, or identifying commercial opportunities.
Experience with export orders, international distributors, shipping, or cross-border trade is highly desirable.
Experience managing supplier, customer, distributor, and business-partner relationships.
Familiarity with ISO certification, regulatory compliance, and renewing business licenses.
Experience preparing grant applications and communicating or negotiating with government agencies, institutions, or other stakeholders would be an advantage.
