Design Impax / Vila Handprints is a signage, printing and branding company providing customised products and services to individuals, businesses, organisations and government clients.
Our services include signage, digital printing, vehicle branding, garment printing, embroidery, sublimation, promotional products, corporate branding and other customised solutions.
Job Desctiption:
We are looking for an energetic, confident and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team.
This is a front-desk position. You will be one of the main points of contact for customers, assisting them from their initial enquiry through quotation, invoicing, production and completion of their order.
The role requires strong communication and organisation, as you will work closely with the Sales Manager, graphic designers, production staff and other team members to ensure jobs are processed correctly and completed within agreed deadlines.
Welcome customers and respond to enquiries in person, by phone and email.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
Prepare quotations, sales orders and invoices.
Follow up quotations, orders, payments and customer requests.
Communicate job requirements clearly to the design and production teams.
Monitor jobs through production and help ensure deadlines are met.
Keep customers updated on job progress and any changes.
Maintain accurate customer, sales and job records.
Work closely with the Sales Manager and wider team to manage daily workflow.
Selection Criteria:
The Right Candidate Would:
Be confident and comfortable dealing with customers.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be well organised, reliable, professional and consistent with follow-up.
Be motivated by sales, customer service and achieving targets.
Be a strong team player and able to work well with sales, design and production staff.
Be able to work independently when required.
Be computer literate, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
Be fluent in English and Bislama – French would be a plus
Have previous sales, customer service or administrative experience.
Knowledge of printing, signage, advertising, branding or promotional products would be an advantage, but training can be provided.
Salary:
negotiable (salary progression is real + performance-based bonuses)
