Organisation Description:
C.LO WHOLESALE & RETAILER is seeking a reliable and experienced Chief Accountant to manage all financial operations of our business. The successful candidate will oversee bookkeeping, reporting, payroll, and compliance with Vanuatu's tax and business laws.
Job Desctiption:
• Record daily sales, purchases, and expenses
• Prepare monthly financial reports and budgets
• Manage payroll and staff payments
• Handle VAT, business license, and tax filings
• Monitor cash flow and bank reconciliations
• Maintain organized records of invoices and receipts
• Advise management on financial planning
• Liaise with auditors and government officers when needed
Selection Criteria:
• Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficient in accounting software or Excel
• Honest, detail-oriented, and good with numbers
• Able to communicate clearly in English and Bislama
• Experience in retail or wholesale business is an advantage
