Organisation Description:
IPDS Limited operates Lapetasi International Container Terminal (LICT) under a PPP with the Vanuatu Government to provide all stevedoring and container terminal activities and transport on the island of Efate.
Job Desctiption:
This position requires a self-motivated person with over 10 years' experience as an Electrical/Hydraulic Technician
Selection Criteria:
- Able to work odd hours, under pressure, efficient and trustworthy
- Daily routine inspection of all heavy equipment electrical systems and hydraulic systems
- Trouble shoot/repair faulty heavy equipment electrical wiring systems, alarm systems and lightings
- Diagnosed electrical issue and troubles in hydraulic system through several test methods and related equipment's
- Maintain complete and accurate record of maintenance and repairs.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operators in using the system.
