Fres 4 Shop is a small, family-owned convenience store in Port Vila, Vanuatu, providing everyday essentials and friendly service to the local community. We operate with one staff member per shift, so our team members take responsibility for customer service, handling sales, restocking shelves, and keeping the shop clean, organized and running smoothly.
Job Desctiption:
The Shop Keeper is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Fres 4 Shop, including serving customers professionally, handling payments and recording sales accurately. The role involves monitoring and replenishing stock, assisting with stocktaking, maintaining the cleanliness and security of the shop, and reporting any stock shortages, damaged goods or other issues to the employer. The successful applicant is expected to be honest, reliable, respectful and responsible, and to open and close the shop as directed by the employer.
Selection Criteria:
Cash handling and operating a cash register
Recording sales transactions accurately
Stock replenishment and shelf organisation
Stocktaking and inventory control
Basic record-keeping
Maintaining shop cleanliness and security
Salary:
12,500 VT/Week
